How each figure is taken

  • Chest: Across the chest 2.5 cm below the armhole, doubled.
  • Body length: From the high point of the shoulder straight down to the hem.
  • Sleeve: From the shoulder seam to the cuff edge.
  • Shoulder: Seam to seam across the back.

Measured flat, finished garment. Tolerance ±1 cm (±0.4 in). Cut straight through the body. Sized on the mens block; size down one for a closer fit.

What this piece does not do

  • The 8.5 L total is the sum of individually measured values, each with a ±10% tolerance.
  • Volume totals say nothing about a bag weight allowance, which differs by carrier and by route.
  • We make no antimicrobial, odour-control or medical claim for this garment, and we do not describe it as waterproof.

Every figure on this page is measured under the conditions set out on our performance testing page.

The thinking

This is the answer to the question the whole catalogue exists for: what does a week actually take up?

Eleven pieces, 8.5 litres packed by our stated methods. A compact cabin bag runs 28 to 36 litres, so the clothing takes roughly a third of it and the rest is yours.

The set assumes one sink wash mid-week. Without a wash, add the second underwear three-pack and a third tee — the Pack Planner will do that arithmetic for you.

The set is priced below the sum of the individual everyday prices. The struck-through figure on this page is that sum, calculated from the live price of each piece.

Customer reviews

No reviews for The One-Bag Week yet. We publish reviews only from verified purchasers of the exact piece, so this stays empty until someone who bought it writes one.

How we handle reviews

  • Only customers who bought the piece from us can leave a review.
  • We publish negative and positive reviews alike. We do not remove a review for being critical, and we do not ask people to contact us before reviewing.
  • If anything of value was given in exchange for a review — a free item, a discount, a payment — it is disclosed on that review.
  • We do not buy, sell or generate reviews, and we do not republish reviews written for a different product.
