How each figure is taken
Measured flat, finished garment. Tolerance ±1 cm (±0.4 in). Cut straight through the body. Sized on the mens block; size down one for a closer fit.
Every figure on this page is measured under the conditions set out on our performance testing page.
The argument for merino on the road is simple: it holds less moisture against the skin and it stays fresher longer between washes than cotton at the same weight.
We knit it at 150 gsm with a nylon core yarn, because pure merino at this weight wears through at the shoulder inside a season.
Rinsed in a sink at night it is dry in about four hours hanging.
