How each figure is taken

Bust: Across the chest 2.5 cm below the armhole, doubled.
Waist: Across the narrowest point of the body, doubled.
Body length: From the high point of the shoulder straight down to the hem.
Sleeve: From the shoulder seam to the cuff edge.
Shoulder: Seam to seam across the back.

Measured flat, finished garment. Tolerance ±1 cm (±0.4 in). Cut for a relaxed travel fit. If you sit between two sizes, the smaller size gives a closer line under a layer.

What this piece does not do

Lighter cloth shows a pressed fold more clearly than the oxford before it relaxes.
Semi-opaque in Chalk. A base layer is worth considering.

The thinking

Poplin sits closer to the skin than oxford and reads dressier under a jacket. It also creases more readily, which is why the finish matters more here.
