How each figure is taken

Chest: Across the chest 2.5 cm below the armhole, doubled.
Waist: Across the narrowest point of the body, doubled.
Body length: From the high point of the shoulder straight down to the hem.
Sleeve: From the shoulder seam to the cuff edge.
Shoulder: Seam to seam across the back.

Measured flat, finished garment. Tolerance ±1 cm (±0.4 in). Take the garment measurement, double the chest figure to compare against a shirt you already own.

What this piece does not do

The finish is durable to roughly 40 home launderings before the grade begins to drop.

The thinking

Every shirt sold as travel-ready makes the same promise. Almost none of them say what they mean by it.

Ours grades 4 of 5 after our stated fold-and-load test: folded in thirds, held under 5 kg for 12 hours, hung for 30 minutes, then read against a five-step reference. Grade 4 means visible soft creasing at the elbow and rear yoke, no hard fold lines.

That is a real shirt for a real second day. It is not a shirt that comes out flat, and we will not tell you otherwise.
