How each figure is taken

Chest: Across the chest 2.5 cm below the armhole, doubled.
Body length: From the high point of the shoulder straight down to the hem.
Sleeve: From the shoulder seam to the cuff edge.
Shoulder: Seam to seam across the back.

Measured flat, finished garment. Tolerance ±1 cm (±0.4 in). Cut straight through the body. Sized on the mens block; size down one for a closer fit.

What this piece does not do

Linen creases. Grade 2 of 5 means visible fold lines out of a packed bag.
Expect softening and slight relaxation in the body over the first five washes.
We make no antimicrobial, odour-control or medical claim for this garment, and we do not describe it as waterproof.

The thinking

Linen is the most comfortable thing you can wear at 34°C and the least cooperative thing you can pack. Both facts are true at once.

We blend it with 45% Tencel to take the edge off the crease and add drape. It still grades 2 of 5 on our scale, which means clear fold lines out of a bag that need a hang and a steamy bathroom.

If a flat second-day shirt is what you need, buy the oxford. This one is for the days when air moving through cloth matters more.
