How each figure is taken

Chest: Across the chest 2.5 cm below the armhole, doubled.
Body length: From the high point of the shoulder straight down to the hem.
Sleeve: From the shoulder seam to the cuff edge.
Shoulder: Seam to seam across the back.

Measured flat, finished garment. Tolerance ±1 cm (±0.4 in). Cut straight through the body. Sized on the mens block; size down one for a closer fit.

What this piece does not do

Water-repellent, not waterproof. Beading holds for roughly 25 minutes of light rain before the face wets out.
The finish degrades with abrasion and washing. Reproof every 15–20 washes.
No hydrostatic-head rating is claimed for this garment.
We make no antimicrobial, odour-control or medical claim for this garment, and we do not describe it as waterproof.

The thinking

A durable water-repellent finish makes water bead and roll off the face of a fabric. It does not make a garment waterproof, and it wears off.

Ours is a PFC-free DWR on a 2.5-layer nylon face. In our test it sheds a light shower for roughly 25 minutes before the face begins to wet out at the shoulders and pack contact points.

Reproof it roughly every 15 to 20 washes with a wash-in or spray-on repellent. We say so here rather than after you have been rained on.
