The thinking

A jogger you can sleep in that does not look like sleepwear. The cut is tapered rather than baggy, and the cuff has a short zip so it goes over a low shoe.

Grid ripstop at 145 gsm resists the snag that ends most soft trousers on a coach or a train seat.

All four pockets close, which matters when you doze off.
